Natalie Ryan

Natalie Ryan is an Australian textile designer and illustrator. 

Growing up on a farm in country Victoria introduced her to local wildflowers, and began her love of drawing and painting plants and nature. 

Following a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design, Natalie has worked in textile design studios in Sydney, London, and Melbourne. 

In recenter years, she studied botanical painting, where her desire to create watercolour depictions of Australia's unique flora and fauna was sown.

Natalie works out of a studio in an old farmhouse surrounded by rambling country garden. She creates all her freelance designs and illustrations by hand using a variety of mediums including watercolour, gouache, and print making.
